Overview
EMC NetWorker helps you protect your data by simplifying and centralizing backup and recovery operations. With its record-breaking performance, NetWorker is the ideal backup software for small offices as well as large data centers.
Select the appropriate NetWorker modules to gain protection for popular database, messaging, content, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications. You can also choose from a menu of options to add specialized functionality.

NetWorker Dashboard Option
EMC NetWorker Dashboard Option is an intelligent backup correlation and impact analysis tool. With this backup management solution, you gain better monitoring of the backup environment, reduce the time to troubleshoot backup and recovery issues, and proactively avoid future problems.
NetWorker DiskBackup Option

NetWorker Module for Centera
EMC NetWorker Module for Centera provides a cost-effective backup and recovery solution for EMC Centera storage. Using the network data management protocol (NDMP), the NetWorker Centera module delivers an alternative to replicating Centera storage arrays by allowing you to back up Centera to a NetWorker environment.
NetWorker Module for MEDITECH
The EMC NetWorker Module for MEDITECH schedules, creates, and manages either local or remote replicas of the MEDITECH database. Deployed with NetWorker, the NetWorker Module for MEDITECH performs normal scheduled backups for MEDITECH and creates disaster recovery replicas without interrupting your healthcare database.

NetWorker Module for Sybase
EMC NetWorker Module for Sybase provides fast, online backup and restore for Sybase databases, ensuring availability of mission-critical application information. With the NetWorker Module for Sybase, database administrators can centrally manage backup operations and schedules.
NetWorker NDMP Client Connection Option
EMC NetWorker NDMP Client Connection Option enables you to back up network-attached storage (NAS) devices in your NetWorker environment. This option, combined with NetWorker and the NetWorker DiskBackup Option, offers the unique capability to back up NAS devices to disk. It uses the Network Data Management Protocol (NDMP), the industry standard for backup and recovery of NAS devices.
NetWorker OpenVMS
EMC NetWorker OpenVMS enables information technology (IT) administrators to integrate OpenVMS servers into heterogeneous NetWorker environments for complete data protection. This option eliminates the isolation of OpenVMS servers, thereby reducing administrative overhead.
NetWorker Module for PowerSnap
EMC NetWorker Module for PowerSnap integrates EMC and third-party replication within the EMC NetWorker framework. With NetWorker Module for PowerSnap, you can create instant backups for rapid recoveries and leverage point-in-time snapshots for long-term backup to disk or tape.
NetWorker Module for Microsoft Applications
EMC NetWorker Module for Microsoft Applications delivers a unified solution for protection of Microsoft Server applications. It enables EMC NetWorker to leverage Microsoft’s Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) feature to create and manage consistent point-in-time snapshot data copies for quick recovery and off-host backup. NetWorker users can capture more frequent recovery points on disk and recover information in a fraction of the time it takes to restore from a tape, lessening the impact of data protection operations on production servers.
