EMC CLARiiON CX4-480
EMC CLARiiON CX4 Model 480 provides high-capacity networked storage that meets the needs of demanding OLTP workloads and large-scale e-mail environments. With the CX4-480, you can scale seamlessly up to 471 TB of storage capacity and consolidate two times the workload in one array than any other storage provider.
Overview
CLARiiON CX4-480—a member of the CLARiiON CX4 series—supports up to 256 highly available, dual-connected hosts and has the capability to scale up to 480 disk drives for a maximum capacity of 471 TB. The base CLARiiON CX4-480 array is delivered with eight 4 Gb/s Fibre Channel and four 1 Gb/s iSCSI host ports. With additional UltraFlex modules, eight additional 4 or 8Gb/s Fibre Channel ports or four or eight additional 1 Gb/s iSCSI ports can be optionally configured.
CLARiiON CX4-480 supports Flash drives (starting in October 2008) for ultra-high-performance requirements. Customers have the best investment protection options with data-in-place upgrades through the CLARiiON CX4 series.
